Tara, Dan & The Clan blog was created by Tara V., a seasoned blogger and mom of five energetic kiddos. With many mom and dad blogs online, I wanted to create a blog that is not only informational but personal and not just full of product reviews and giveaways (yes I love them, but I want to share my story too). Welcome to our hectic, crazy, but fun lives.

As a mother of five kids, ages 3 years to 15 years, my days are full of chasing and running around.
Often called mom, mommy, mother or hey!, I’m the Queen of my castle here in SE Georgia. The King would be Dan… he’s my rock, my best friend and my soul-mate. Our five kids (ages 15, 9, 7, 5, and 3) keep us extremely busy and often tired! We really need 34 hours in each day to keep up with everything–including laundry.
I’m rather domestically challenged and really wish Martha Stewart would keep up with my house too!
After baby #2 arrived I became a work at home mom and traded in the office for a small space in the house I could call an office. Over the last 10 years I’ve edited several online blogs and websites about parenting, shopping, fashion and health, with my focus now on a personal blog.
PS: Yes I really do have blue (or purple, or red, or pink) hair!

Father to the family clan. My kids are my world and often teach me in a day what I teach them in a week.
I’m the family King who does everything possible to keep my wife and children happy. After-all, if my wife is not happy, I surly won’t be!
I’m a prior US Army Ranger, enjoy hunting, fishing, UFC, extreme sports and playing darts.
My wife talked me into starting this blog with her, so here I am.

I like yourself am a mother of well soon to be 5 I’m due in April. My ages will ranger from 10 to well what will be new born. I have always dreamed being able to work from home so that I can stay at home and raise my children and be able to some home find something to help me bring in an income as well. Well, needless to say I’ve accomplished the “stay at home” Mom roll. I am a full time stay at home mom and as if that isn’t a job in it’s self it doesn’t bring in an income. That is now what I’m looking for help on doing. Who else better to ask than a mother with five that is already doing just that, so if you would be will and are able to help me do just that please let me know. I really enjoy your blog and I just adore the fact that you have your husband Dan doing it with you
