The Clan recently had the opportunity to try out some Crayola products we’ve never had. We received the Crayola Jewelry Boutique, Crayola Glow Book, Telescoping Crayon Tower and Ultimate Art Supply Kit to test out! I’ve got to say the kids have enjoyed each product and I’ve enjoyed playing jewelry maker with the girls and the Crayola Jewelry Boutique.

Crayola Jewelry Boutique
With the new Crayola Jewelry Boutique, kids can become their own jewelry designers and have a blast! Crayola puts a unique “spin” on jewelry making with a special “jewelry spinner” that creates multicolored beads using Crayola Model Magic. As kids spin their beads into shapes, they can string them together to create original bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and pendants that reflect their own personal style. Let the designing begin!
This was really fun to play with! The girls and I sat at the table for a few hours creating bracelets, earrings and necklaces. The kit comes with 8 packs of Crayola Model Magic to mold 160 beads, but if you’re beads are large you will not get 160 beads out of the model magic. We were able to make 143 total beads of different sizes (small and large).
The fun comes into play when you get to swirl your colors. The kit comes with directions but I found if we used three colors the swirl pattern was the prettiest. We used one main color and then added in just a small amount of the second and third colors. This gave a better swirl look to the beads. When we used equal part’s of color, the swirl was not as pretty.
The kit comes with a bead dryer rack, but if you make several beads at one time they will not all fit. We ended up filling it up then sitting our extras on a plate to dry.

Crayola Glow Book
Let your kids’ imaginations run free this holiday season while creating glowing, moving art with the Crayola Glow Book. Turn the lights out and watch their artwork come alive on each page and appear as if it is actually moving!

This was the favorite for Coby. While he is only 4 he has really enjoyed playing with the Glow Book. The only issue I see with allowing the younger kids to play with the Glow Book would be them loosing the glow markers.
Crayola’s Telescoping Crayon Tower and Ultimate Art Supply Case
The Telescoping Crayon Tower is a must-have for crayon lovers! It allows for easy orginization of crayons and perfect for storage. I hate finding crayons all over the house, and this handy organizer makes keeping up with crayons a breeze. The Crayon Tower comes with a built-in sharpener to keep crayon tips nice and sharp.
