The last few weeks Desi has been breaking out with hives off and on. The doctors have not been able to figured out the cause and referred us to an allergy specialist. The hives returned this past Monday but were pretty faint compared to normal. Since we have an appointment for allergy testing we were told not to give her any antihistamines 1 week prior to her appointment. There’s nothing I can give her that helps at this point.
Today: Day 002 – We Woke Up To Severe Hives
This morning she woke up with the worst case of hives yet! Her entire body was covered with large welts and the itching was causing her so much discomfort. She sat and cried this morning due to the intense itching & burning and wanted me to call her daddy. While daddy can’t take it away, he can always make his baby girl feel better!
I’m very bothered by seeing my child so miserable, but I know if I offer her any medication we will have to postpone the allergy tests due to a false reading if antihistamines are in the body. So, it looks like she is going to have to stick it out for two more days.

I hope they figure out what the cause is asap! I have a mild food allergy so I get them but nothing even close to that, and they are still miserable. Good luck with the doc. Keep us posted.
